- Wall-thickness verification
- Material traceability
Manufacturing quality control
MIT Water links material verification, qualified welding, fabrication checks and non-destructive examination through documented ITP hold and verification points.
Incoming SS304 pipe and fittings are checked for dimensions, wall thickness and material identity before fabrication.
Pipe welding is performed by personnel qualified in accordance with ASME Section IX, an uncommon capability in China's water-treatment fabrication field.
Radiographic testing and penetrant testing are incorporated where required by the ITP and project specification.
ASME Section IX
Qualified welding supports stainless-steel pipework and skid fabrication quality for BWRO, SWRO and other high-pressure RO systems.
Pickling & passivation
After welding and fabrication, stainless-steel pipework can be pickled and passivated to improve surface condition and support corrosion resistance.
