Company Profile

Mit Water is a water treatment company with more than 20 years of experience in the field of water and wastewater management services, as well as a presence in China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam etc. We primarily use membrane, ion exchange, physical, chemical and biological processes and leverage our in-house fabrication and assembly capabilities to design and produce reliable, compact, cost-effective, innovative and space efficient water and wastewater treatment solutions.

Our Group assisted in partner's TOOT project through a joint operation arrangement with a Jakarta government-owned company. Through main contractor, we took over, retrofitted and upgraded an existing water treatment plant located in Jakarta.

Within the same year, we embarked on partner's BOOT project to develop and manage a bulk drinking water production unit at Jakarta, Indonesia. Our Group has since completed the construction of the water treatment plant before handing the project in 2019.

Being committed to quality customer service is fundamental to Mit Water's success. We aim to excel in offering our customers a truly customized solution that optimises resources and attains breakthrough performance with lower production cost. Our accumulated practical experience and technical knowledge enable us to provide our customers with one-stop tailored solutions for their unique needs and to meet the stringent requirements of the water industry.

FAQ

We deliver a complete range of solutions across the water value chain: Water Treatment Solutions (WTS) for producing clean, pure and ultrapure water; Wastewater Treatment Solutions (WWTS) for treating domestic and industrial effluent; Water Recycling Treatment Solutions (WRTS) for recovering and reusing process water; and Sea Water Treatment and Desalination Solutions (STDS) for converting seawater into freshwater. Our systems serve municipal authorities, power plants, oil & gas facilities, food & beverage manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, chemical processors, textile mills, and electronics fabs.

Timelines vary with project scope and complexity. Standard packaged equipment such as skid-mounted RO units or DAF systems can typically ship within 8 to 16 weeks. For engineered turnkey projects covering process design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning, the overall schedule generally ranges from 4 to 12 months depending on site conditions and regulatory approvals. We provide a comprehensive project schedule with key milestones at the proposal stage so expectations are aligned from day one.

Quality is built in at every stage, not just inspected at the end. For each project we prepare a project-specific Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) that defines all inspection points, test methods, acceptance criteria and hold points from material receiving through final assembly. The ITP is shared with the client for review and approval before fabrication begins. Key stages include: incoming material certification and dimensional checks; weld procedure qualification and NDT (radiography, ultrasonic, dye penetrant); pressure vessel hydrostatic testing; surface preparation and coating inspection; electrical panel FAT; and finally the integrated system Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). The FAT is the culmination of the ITP ??a comprehensive test run where we simulate operating conditions, verify all instrumentation and controls, confirm performance parameters against the datasheet, and demonstrate safety interlocks. Clients are welcome to witness any ITP hold point and the FAT at our facility. A complete quality dossier including material certificates, NDT reports, test records and the signed-off FAT report is delivered with the equipment.

Our standard warranty covers 12 months from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of delivery, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. Consumable items such as filter cartridges, UV lamps, gaskets and membranes are excluded as their service life depends on feed water quality and operating conditions. We also offer extended warranty programmes and annual maintenance contracts for clients who want long-term peace of mind.

For standard equipment orders, we typically require a deposit of 30% to 50% with the purchase order and the balance before shipment. For larger turnkey projects we structure payments around key milestones such as engineering approval, material procurement, factory acceptance, delivery, installation and commissioning. We accept payment by telegraphic transfer (T/T) and irrevocable letter of credit (L/C). Detailed payment terms are agreed during contract negotiation and documented in the commercial proposal.

We view project handover as the beginning of a long-term partnership. Our after-sales services include: responsive remote technical support via video call, phone and email with priority response for operational issues; on-site supervision during installation and commissioning by experienced process and commissioning engineers; hands-on operator training covering normal operation, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures; supply of genuine OEM spare parts and consumables at competitive lead times and pricing; and optional preventive maintenance programmes with scheduled site visits to keep your plant operating at peak efficiency. We are committed to supporting our clients throughout the full lifecycle of their water treatment assets.

Certainly. We have successfully delivered water and wastewater treatment projects across multiple countries with an established presence in China, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam, and experience serving clients in other Asian markets. Our engineering team is proficient in international design codes and standards including ASME, ASTM, API, ISO and EN. We handle all aspects of international project execution: export packing and containerisation, shipping documentation and customs clearance, compliance with destination-country regulations, and mobilisation of field service teams for overseas installation, commissioning and training. We understand the logistical and cultural considerations of cross-border projects and manage them as a routine part of our business.

Our core strength is in-house design, engineering, fabrication and assembly. We manufacture our key process equipment ??including pressure vessels, skid frames, piping systems, chemical dosing packages, DAF units, clarifiers, anaerobic reactors and integrated control panels ??at our own production facilities using qualified welding procedures and quality-controlled processes. For certain specialised components such as high-pressure pumps, membrane elements, EDI modules, UV systems and precision instrumentation, we partner with leading global OEM suppliers whose products we have tested and validated over many years. This hybrid approach allows us to combine our manufacturing expertise with best-in-class third-party technologies, giving our clients the optimal balance of quality, cost and reliability. Every system, regardless of where individual components originate, is fully assembled, integrated and tested by our team before delivery so we stand behind the complete solution as a single point of responsibility.
